What is your purpose?

The NetSqlAzMan console already asks you for credentials to connect to SQL Server (the first time).

Next time the credentials are stored into the data snap-in of your profile.

Regards,

Andrea.

Hi,

NetSqlAzMan (SnapIn Console) already supports the ability to restrict access for both reading and in administration of a Store or a single Application.

This feature is provided in the guidance as Store Permissions and Application Permissions.

For each store / Application there are two SQL DB roles: Managers and Readers.

First you must create a SQL login (Windows or SQL account) then by SnapIn right click on the NetSqlAzMan Store / Application node of and choose the Store / Application properties.

Then press the "Permissions" button and check which roles belong to users.

For eaxample, an Application Manager can handle all of such an application but the console will show you only one application you are managing and not the others.

I think this is the feature you were looking for.

Regards,

Andrea.
