Hello,

I'd like to use NetSQLAzMan in a web project that uses forms authentication without impersonation. The Request.LogonUserIdentity() is not the user I want the authorize.

Is it possible to use NetSqlAzMan with AD users in this project?

Thank you.

Hi,

if you want to use Forms Authentication you have to use NetSqlAzMan DB Users instead of Windows Users (you don’t need of IIdentity).

See the guide to get information regarding DB users.

Andrea.

The thing is, I want to use AD users (employees, I need to put AD groups in AzMan roles) AND dbUsers (clients).

But I think I just found a way. I create a windows idendity manually with the users UPN : Dim identity As WindowsIdentity = New WindowsIdentity("username@domain")

I works!

Thanks

Good.

Remember that it works only on Windows Server 2003 / Vista or later (Kerberos Protocol Transition) … not on Win Xp.

Regards,

Andrea.
