I am utilizing NetSQLAzman with WPF, what I did is to create my own WCF Security Service that behind the scenes consumes the NetSQLAzman API, the service ends up returning (on the first request when the credentials are passed) the user allowed operation ids, and a user CacheId that lasts only few minutes (session cacheId for the user), all this protected through SSL. Other tiers may receive the CacheId and call on the security service to retrieve operation Ids yet again, but this time it is an additional request, so the cacheId and not the credentials are required by the Security Service. Every boundary in my system is non-trusting (do not trust operation Ids from other tiers, only trust them as retrieved from the security service)  and so the should call the security service to retrieve valid operation Ids for a given CacheId. The Cache time slides whenever a request is received.
