Batch updates to remove users

Hi,

Our Operations support team has a termination script that performs functions such as disabling a user's Active Directory account, removing the user from AD Groups, etc. when a person leaves the company.  Is there any way that they can run a similar batch script to get NetSqlAzMan cleaned up as well where the user has access via explicit access to a role/task/operation/storegroup/appgroup?

Thanks.

No, but you can use the T-SQL system function … SUSER_SNAME(sid) … to resolve SID to Names and delete all deleted/disabled users from the NetSqlAzMan_Authorizations table.

Andrea.

Hi,

there are many records in netsqlazman_AuthorizationsTable, all with ownerSID corresponding to my username and there are many users into ASPNET db (I have inserted all authorizations into NetSqlAzMan db).

What records I must delete for remove a user?  It 'true that there is no API method to remove a user from NetSqlAzMan db ?

Hi,

Owner SID is who has inserted the Authorization Record (the owner of the authorization).

The user SID is stored into the “ObjectSID” fields of the netsqlazman_AuthorizationsTable.

API are provided to delete a “user authorization” … not to delete users from the dbo.UsersDemo table, because NetSqlAzMan is an authorization system … and not an authentication one.

Regards,

Andrea.
