Code Against Roles Tasks or Operations

I was wondering what is your recommendation in this regards. Basically from what I understand the code should be done only against operations, since like you said the Tasks are defined by analysts.

So what about the Roles provider, it seems that that one forces you to code against roles. but what if in admin mode, an admin decides to add or remove roles? I guess tha means that the code should change as well correct?

The question is absolutely relevant and correct.

The problem is that the system based on Microsoft RoleProvider uses precisely Roles (and not Tasks or Operations).

The fact that NetSqlAzMan provide a custom provider comes from a user requirment.
