NetSQLAzman case sensitivity

Jul 21, 2009 at 6:44 PM

I have an ASP.NET application, that calls a WCF service, within  the wcf service dll there is a call made to NetSqlAzman v3542.2.

The bindings on the client in this case the ASP.NET app, have transportcredentails of Ntlm, the WCF service is hosted in IIS 6.0, with Integrated Windows Authentication.

The identity.name that is passed to NetSqlAzman does not match what is stored in netsqlazman from a case sensitive point of view.

Userid in netsqlazman is DOMAIN\xyztest, the value passed from the wcf service is DOMAIN\XyztesT.

This is a double hop, from a web app to a wcf service hosted in IIS.

Is NetsqlAzman case sensitive?,

Hi,

NetSqlAzMan is case-insensitive … but WCF may be case sensitive.

Please look at these links … may be useful:
